PDO Thread Lift Procedure
A PDO thread lift is done by inserting housing needles, called cannulas, into the skin in a sterile procedure to place the PDO threads. A local anesthesia ensures the treated area is numbed before the PDO threads are inserted into different layers of the skin with the either sharp or blunt needles known as cannulas. The threads anchor the skin and lift it upwards after it is inserted and the excess is then cut off. The procedure takes 15-30 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
